The source of essential plant nutrients and components in soil is limited; however, as plants harvest, this actually causes a reduction in the quality and yield of the plants.
Thus, within years of chemical abusement process, plus erosions, poorer and less productive soils have resulted. This happened due to lack of essential minerals and organic elements and micro organisms.
Live soil, which is rich in mineral, is productive soil; the top soil is the most productive soil layer. Natural process of forming one inch of top soil can take more than 500 years.
If 20 cm of the top layer of soil is destroyed, most of the living organisms would die. Live soil is rich in minerals, is more productive.
The top of soil functions principally form supplements as container of water and plant nutrients.
